Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 July 2026

Version française

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Camyamo mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Camyamo is a marketplace that connects customers in Cameroon with independent restaurants, hotels, and guest-house operators ("Merchants"). Camyamo enables discovery, ordering, booking, messaging, and payment coordination, but the food, accommodation, and delivery are provided by the Merchants, not by Camyamo.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account and one-time codes (OTPs) secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Orders & Bookings

When you place an order or booking, you make an offer to the Merchant, who may accept, prepare, or decline it. Prices, availability, menus, room inventory, and delivery areas are set by Merchants and may change. Estimated times are not guarantees.

4. Payments (Non-Custodial)

Camyamo does not hold your money. Payments are made directly between you and the Merchant.

You pay Merchants directly using MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, or cash on delivery where offered. Camyamo does not escrow, hold, or transmit funds and is not a payment institution. You are responsible for paying the correct amount to the correct Merchant collection number, and for verifying receipt of goods or services.

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

Because payments are made directly to Merchants, refunds and cancellations are handled between you and the Merchant according to the Merchant's policy. Camyamo provides an in-app disputes process to help mediate issues in good faith, but Camyamo is not responsible for issuing refunds for transactions it does not process. Contact support@camyamo.com if you need help.

6. Merchant Obligations

Merchants must provide accurate listings and pricing, honour accepted orders and bookings, comply with applicable food-safety, hospitality, and consumer laws, and deal fairly with customers. Camyamo may verify, flag, suspend, or remove Merchants that violate these Terms or harm users.

7. User Conduct & Content

You agree not to misuse the Service, including submitting false information, fraudulent payment references, abusive messages, or fake reviews. Reviews and content you submit must be truthful and your own. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content and accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camyamo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camyamo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of Merchants, including the quality, safety, or delivery of goods and services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms users, Merchants, or the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
